Winning Dental Practices Away From Underperforming Marketing
Connect the Doc helps dental, orthodontic, pediatric, and cosmetic dental practices get better results from their marketing — including practices already paying another agency and not seeing results. That's a harder sell than cold outreach to an unaddressed need: it requires identifying practice type accurately, reaching the actual decision-maker (often the practice owner, not a front-desk inbox), and making a case compelling enough to switch. UNIMA built and runs Connect the Doc's full outreach system to do exactly that.

The Challenge
Not every dental practice is the same buyer — a general dentist, an orthodontist, a pediatric practice, and a cosmetic-focused practice each respond to a different pitch, and a generic "grow your practice" email gets ignored by all of them. On top of that, many of the best-fit practices were already working with another marketing company, meaning the message had to displace an existing vendor relationship, not just fill a gap.
//02
The Approach
UNIMA built a system that classifies each practice by type — dentist, orthodontist, pediatric dentist, or cosmetic dentist — directly from their own website content, so messaging matches what the practice actually does instead of a one-size-fits-all pitch. Campaigns were run in parallel across 84 sequences, including dedicated outreach to practices already engaged with a competing marketing company, positioned around a low-friction offer: a free AI-driven assessment video and call.
//03
The Low Hanging Fruit
UNIMA connected Connect the Doc's outreach data directly to their CRM (GoHighLevel), automatically identifying which positive replies had made it into the sales pipeline and which hadn't — surfacing engaged practices that were at risk of falling through the cracks between reply and follow-up.
